about the exhibit component
This exhibit lets children use their bodies as a measuring tool and challenge themselves to set and reach goals. Children jump as high as they can to push in the marks on an interactive ruler. This activity is not only a way to practice STEM skills of measurement, momentum and
gravity, but also explore SEL skills of perseverance, setting goals and meeting challenges that may seem out of reach.
The component is constructed of HDPE plastics, acrylics with embedded magnetic graphics. It is approximately 3-0”W x 7-0”H x 2’-0”D and designed for use against a flat wall. Specific design details will be provided for owners’ approval prior to fabrication.
